The World Championships in Norway was something that we had really been looking forward to. It would be exciting to see how our norwegian "neighbours" had solved the task to organize a World Championships in Ice Hockey. We took off from Gothenburg in our well-known Caravan and took of for Oslo filled with excpectations. It was to become a championship filled with both positive and negative expectericences... |
Gabbe and Peter in the Caravan on the way to Oslo. They look a little bit tired but that mostly beacuse they had a nap for a great while during the trip and beacuse to heavy drinking.
The toilet that is located in the caravan was of course filled with lots of nice things to drink during the championships. We have here chosen to hide the mineralwater for sensitive surfers.
Fredner and Peter during a break somewhere in Norway. Fredner is here seen with what should be our base-food during this championship. "One hot-dog with bread - please".
On location in Oslo and proudly showing our new Svea Svin-flag together with two latvian supporters.
During the first game is Gabbe and Peter cheering like never before. In the background do we have "the German" which was a nice deja-vouz.
Our flag was very well seen during the games. Here have we placed it behind the goal for maximum expose on television and for the other fans.
Fredner is chatting with some female expectators, but the cheerleaders doesen´t seem to amused by the competition regarding the attention from the fans...
On the first night in Oslo did we go to a pub called "Fiasko" that is located next to SAS-Radisson. The place was as the name suggessts not exactly the funniest we have visited but we did our best to make things happen, but it wasn´t easy. Here can we see The german, Bergman, ? and Perra.
The very well known "Fredner position". Fredner is loading his batteries inside Fiasko.
As said, Fiasko really was a bad choice when it came to partying so we went to the main-street in Oslo, Carl Johan and ended up at a place called Scotsman. Here are Fredner sayoin hello to a finnish supporter and to show solidarity with our eastern brothers has he taken on a finnish hat - jesus!
